Partner Questions

Do I need a TDLR license in Texas?

Yes. Texas requires a TDLR incident management towing license for most towing operations. Equivalent licensing is required in other states. JMeC Connect collects license documentation during the review process.

How are after-hours dispatches handled?

Providers marked as available during after-hours windows are eligible for night, weekend, and holiday dispatch requests. Urgency fees may apply to after-hours calls depending on the customer's selected service path.

What tow equipment do I need?

Equipment requirements depend on the service types you list. Operators must have functional equipment matched to their offered services (flatbed, wheel lift, heavy recovery, etc.) before dispatch activation.

Is GPS or real-time tracking required?

GPS tracking is not currently required, but real-time availability status and prompt response to accepted dispatches are required. Slow response patterns may affect dispatch priority.

What types of calls will I receive?

Tow requests, jumpstarts, lockouts, flat tire roadside, fuel delivery, and transport — based on the service types you list and your availability status at the time of dispatch.

Is job volume guaranteed?

No. JMeC Connect does not guarantee any minimum dispatch volume or income. Dispatch availability depends on customer demand in your area and your current eligibility status.

Independent Provider Notice: Tow providers who partner with JMeC Connect operate as independent service businesses. JMeC Connect is a dispatch coordination platform, not an employer. Providers are responsible for their own towing license, commercial insurance, DOT compliance, equipment maintenance, customer safety, work quality, and all applicable federal and state laws. TDLR compliance (Texas) or equivalent state licensing is the provider's sole responsibility.
